(B) Educational Qualification (as of 12.04.2023):
- A degree from any university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Additional Notes:
- Qualifications must have been obtained in sequential order: 10th + HSC + Bachelor’s Degree.
- Results must have been declared on or before the notification date.
- If claiming equivalence of qualification, candidates must provide supporting Government Orders issued before the notification date.

Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of two papers:

- Others: 240
Key Points to Note:
- Candidates must meet minimum qualifying marks in Part A of Paper II to have their remaining papers evaluated.
- Questions in Paper I and Part B of Paper II will be set in both Tamil and English.
- Absence in any paper will lead to disqualification.
Selection Procedure
Selection is based on a single-stage written examination. Final ranking is determined by the total marks obtained, subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
Centres for Examination
Candidates may select two preferred districts as their examination centres. Final allocation will be based on availability.
