- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age is 50 years.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: A Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or Criminologyfrom a recognized university.
- Desirable: Postgraduate degree in any of the above fields and a Diploma or Certificate in Computer Operations.
Knowledge in Tamil
- Candidates must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil as per Tamil Nadu Government requirements.
Examination Fee
- Registration Fee: ₹150 (valid for five years under the One-Time Registration system).
- Examination Fee: ₹200 (exemptions apply for certain categories like SC/ST/DW).
Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages:
- Written Examination (Computer-Based Test):
- Paper I (Subject Paper): 300 marks
- Paper II (Tamil Eligibility Test and General Studies): 150 marks
- Oral Test: 60 marks
The final selection will be based on the combined marks from the written exam and oral test.
