Educational Qualification (as of 15.09.2022)
- Assistant Statistical Investigator: A Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Computer Applications with Statistics as an ancillary/ allied subject, or any degree with a post-graduate degree in Operations Research, Econometrics, or Mathematical Economics. Candidates with non-Statistics degrees must be proficient in core Statistical concepts (e.g., Probability, Sampling, Regression) and MS-Excel for data analysis.
- Statistical Compiler: A Degree in Statistics.
- Computor: A Degree in Statistics or Biostatistics.
Note: The educational qualification must be obtained in the order of 10th + HSC or equivalent + Bachelor’s Degree as per Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.
